An intergenerational festival
The ENEZ FEST festival was born in early 2022 out of a collective desire to celebrate the rich natural and built heritage of Quimperlé, the City of Three Rivers. Quimperlé is a thriving town, with young people who are committed to their local area. The first 2 editions (April 2022 and 2023), supported by the town of Quimperlé, attracted a large cross-generational audience (around 3,000 people) in a warm, family atmosphere.
A festival in the lower town of Quimperlé
ENEZ FEST is a cross-disciplinary, family-friendly, participatory and free festival. It appeals to a wide range of sensibilities and invites you to take a fresh look at the area with a multi-faceted programme: artistic, environmental, sporting, musical and associative.
The ENEZ FEST festival takes its name from Quimperlé's geographical location, "enez" meaning "island" in Breton. Our aim is to highlight the island nature of the lower town and draw the attention of local residents to Quimperlé's rich architectural, natural, historical and cultural heritage.
